Let me share my terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale for others. This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I ordered my glasses, paying an extra $19.95 for "next day delivery," only to have them take nearly a week to arrive. This was clearly not "next day" delivery. I felt compelled to leave a review and engage with customer service because they failed to deliver on their promise and then made it incredibly difficult to get any resolution.
Customer: "Hello, I'm calling about order [Order Number]. I paid for next-day delivery, but it took nearly a week to get here. I want a refund for the $19.95 delivery fee." CS Rep: "I understand your concern, sir. Let me locate your order. Could you please confirm the order number?" Customer: "Yes, it's [Order Number]. Your website said 'eligible for next day delivery,' and it wasn't. My glasses didn't even have a prescription, so there was no reason for a production delay." CS Rep: "Thank you for that. I see the order was placed on the 18th and delivered on the 24th. I sincerely apologize for the discrepancy with the delivery timeframe. While our next-day service typically refers to dispatch, the overall delay is not what we want for our customers. I will submit a request to our billing department to review a refund for your shipping." Customer: "A review? I paid for a service I clearly didn't receive. I expect a refund, not just a review. I've tried reaching out multiple times already about this." CS Rep: "I hear your frustration. I understand this is unacceptable. I will escalate this directly to a supervisor for an immediate decision regarding your shipping refund. You will receive an email update within 24 hours."
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of unfulfilled promises and extremely poor customer service.
