Coupon Glitch, Cancelled Order & Terrible Service: A Buyer's Beware ⚠️
I’m writing this as a warning to anyone considering buying glasses online. My experience was a masterclass in frustration, and I want to share it so others can be more careful. It all started with what seemed like a great deal, but it quickly devolved into a mess of technical glitches and poor customer service. This is my direct feeling and conclusion about the experience: "Had received a coupon for 45% off when you spend $250. The coupon was applied to my order and showed it was applied but then when I input my credit card info and hit confirm purchase, my receipt showed the coupon not being applied. Contacted customer service, they assumed that i never put in the coupon code in. I showed a screenshot to which they had to honor the coupon, but the fact that you’re assuming customers are lying? Not good for business. Also, they cancelled my order that i paid an extra $19 for 2 day shipping which delayed since it was cancelled. So it just seems like a shady business to buy from. To have the coupon apply then disappear when i input the pay info. And then to have my order cancelled and then re-processed after I paid $19 extra for faster shipping to then have it be delayed. Just beware when shopping here, or don’t shop here at all and go to Zenni instead. Less of a hassle and cuter glasses." Feeling cheated and dismissed, I had no choice but to engage with their support team, hoping for a simple resolution.
Customer: Hello, I just placed an order and the 45% off coupon disappeared at the final payment step. My receipt shows the full price was charged.
CS Rep: I see your order. Are you certain you entered the code correctly and hit 'apply' before confirming the purchase?
Customer: Yes, I am absolutely certain. I have a screenshot showing the discount applied right before I entered my card info. Your site has a glitch.
