Let me share a truly terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a warning. My latest order for glasses from this website was nothing short of a nightmare. I paid for "next day delivery," expecting my order immediately, but hours later I received an email stating it would take "3 business days" to process. This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. After multiple failed attempts to reach a human through their automated lines and bots to address this clear discrepancy and get my paid service, not just a refund, I finally managed to speak with someone. This review is my way of holding them accountable.
Customer: I paid for next day delivery on my order, and I received an email saying it will take three business days to process. What exactly is "next day" about that? CS Rep: I understand your frustration, sir/ma'am. I apologize for the confusion. While we offer a next-day shipping option, there's typically a 1-3 business day production time for most orders, which is mentioned in our terms. Customer: But your website explicitly said "eligible for next day delivery" right at checkout! I paid $19.95 for a service you're not providing. I don't want a refund for the delivery fee, I want the next day delivery I paid for, or at least a straight answer on why your site misleads customers. CS Rep: I see your point. We can definitely process a full refund for the $19.95 express shipping fee to your original payment method immediately. We strive to be transparent, and I will escalate your feedback regarding the clarity of our delivery options. Customer: So, I just paid extra for nothing, and the best you can do is give me back the money I shouldn't have been charged in the first place, while my glasses are still delayed? This whole experience, including trying to reach a human, has been incredibly frustrating.
