Dizzy, Nauseous, and Ignored: A Customer Service Nightmare 🤢
I'm sharing this to warn others about my awful online shopping experience. I needed a simple pair of prescription safety glasses, but what I received was a nightmare. They sent me the wrong prescription safety glasses, causing dizziness and nausea. It’s been Impossible to get ahold of a live person to actually help get this resolved. Multiple chat sessions, phone calls and emails and still can’t in touch with anyone. I recommend buying from another company even if it’s a few more dollars. After what felt like an eternity, I finally managed to get a representative on the phone, determined to get some answers.
Customer: Finally, a person! I have been trying to reach someone for a week. You sent me the wrong prescription and these glasses are literally making me sick.
CS Rep: I am so incredibly sorry to hear that, and I apologize for the difficulty you've had reaching us. That is not the experience we want for our customers. Could I please have your order number to look into this immediately?
Customer: It's 58291B. I've already explained this in three chats and two emails that got no response. I'm dizzy, and I need the correct glasses I paid for.
CS Rep: Thank you, I have your order. I see the error and I am so sorry for the frustration this has caused. This is completely our fault. I am processing a full refund for you right now, and I've also placed a new, complimentary rush order for the correct pair.
Customer: A full refund and a new pair? How can I be sure this one will be right? I can't afford to be sick from another mistake.
