Let me share a truly terrible online shopping experience, hoping my cautionary tale saves you from the same frustration. GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. They have $246.00 of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on 2/24, and the tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. I simply couldn't get a response for a refund; all they kept telling me was it was "in transit" from a bot. This utter lack of customer service compelled me to leave this review and try one last time to engage with their support, demanding my money back.
Customer: My order #105081183, placed on February 24th, has never arrived. The tracking shows it's stuck in Atlanta, and I've been waiting for a refund for weeks, but all I get are automated responses saying it's in transit. I want my $246.00 back immediately. CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the significant delay and the frustration you've experienced with your order, #105081183. I understand you're still waiting for a refund for an order that was never delivered. Let me check the status of your refund request right now. Customer: This is ridiculous. It's been over a month, and I've had to escalate this to the Better Business Bureau just to get any human attention. When exactly will I see my money returned? "In transit" is not an acceptable answer for a refund. CS Rep: I see here that the refund for your order was processed on April 1st, after the investigation confirmed the delivery issue. While it has been initiated, standard processing time for refunds is typically 7-10 business days. I understand this wait is frustrating, given the circumstances, and I'm truly sorry for the extended inconvenience. Customer: So, I still have to wait up to 10 more days? This company is atrocious. I just want my money back and this nightmare to be over.
